Beth started playing with the boys in her hometown and joined the California Girls training session at 7 or 8. When she turned 10, she switched to Centre to Excellence football with Middlesbrough, and then she joined Sunderland.
Sunderland:
At the age of 16, Beth joined Sunderland. She scored 23 goals in her first season and ended with 29 goals in all competitions. Similarly, the player scored 30 goals in 28 matches the following season and 15 goals in the 2014 FA WSL season, leading Sunderland to promote WSL 1. After this, she turned into a professional player.
In her first match at the top level, Beth scored a 2-1 win for Sunderland against the reigning champions, Liverpool.
