International career
Kelley O’Hara has not only been active in the national game, but she has also been playing international matches in the football industry.
Youth national teams (2005 – 2010)
Kelly represented her country United States in many youth national teams from 2005 to 2010. She scored 24 goals in her 35 under-20 caps and also was a member of the United States U-20 Women’s National Soccer Team, which competed in the 2006 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Championship in Russia. There she scored two goals, one against Germany and another against Congo. She is also the first player to get two yellow cards in the same match played against Argentina.
She rejoined the Unites States U-20 national team at the 2007 Pan American games. In the women’s football tournament, she scored four goals against Mexico, Paraguay, and Panama. She was not able to play the U-20 World Cup. Her last appearance for the United States U-20 team occurred in July 2008, at the 2008 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship in Puebla, Mexico.
