Early Life
In the early days, Tierna Davidson was not so much attached to football. She was more into stars, the planet, and the universe. Davidson wanted to become an astronaut at her young age. But later on her life, she got into the football professionally.
Football career
In 2016, Tierna Davidson joined Stanford University and joined the Stanford football team. in her first year in the group, and she played all 21 games for the Cardinal. She became the Pac-12 All-Freshman team and the All-Pac-12 Second Team. Stanford team that won the 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Tournament and Davidson became Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. She is an important player to win the tournament. She was also named the 2017 College Cup Most Outstanding Defensive Player. But in the 2018 match, she fractured her ankle on September 9 on the game against North Carolina. She only played 3 games in total, her last games from the Stanford team. she played with the Stanford team from 2016- 2018.
In 2019 Chicago Red Stars selected Davidson through NWSL College Draft. Davison played for three years at Stanford, but due to a change in the NWSL College Draft rules, Chicago Red Stars got a chance to select Davidson. Davidson signed with Chicago Red Star on March 11, 2019.

International career
Tierna Davidson’s international career started before her club career. In 2015 she got called United States U-20. She debuts her international game on January 21, 2018, in a friendly match against Denmark. She played in the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship. They lost the game in a penalty kick. She played from under- 20 from 2015 to 2018 and played in 8 games and scored one goal.
Due to a fractured ankle, Davidson could not attend the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship from the senior team. In 2018, august 13, Davidson scored her first international goal against Chile. She was named 2018 U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year. After her recovery from the fractured ankle, she was selected for the 2019 SheBelieves Cup in February.
Tierna Davidson was selected in May 2019 for the final squad of 23-players for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She was the youngest player to be set in the world cup, last team.
